Role Description

Platform Manager required by a top ASX listed Global organization based in the Melbourne CBD taking a key team leadership position within the Data Operations function focused on supporting and optimising all of the technology components on premise and across their Azure based enterprise cloud based data platform. The Data Platform Manager will lead the day to day data platform operations team and will be responsible for ensuring strong working relationships with the teams providing platform support and a high degree of coordination between DevOps, CloudOps and SecOps functions. This role is dual facing which requires working across the organisation at an operational level and managing relationships at senior leadership level to effectively inform and respond to changing strategic requirements.

The successful candidate will have a track record of supporting on prem and cloud based platform systems with a background as a platform engineer, administrator or devops consultant with experience as a manager or team lead of an operations function.
