Senior Data Analyst Full Time NEW

Salary: $125,000-$140,000 per annum:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Data Analyst to join a Top ASX Listed Global Financial Services Institution working as part of high calibre analytics team helping to uplift the data capability across full business enterprise. The ideal candidate is an experienced data wrangler primarily focussed on delivering analytical value, you must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple functions across the business. This is a full-time role based in the Melbourne CBD working in a collaborative and inclusive team environment, offering a competitive remuneration package, flexible working environment and a great company culture.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop, maintain and optimise data collection

Analysing data using statistical techniques and providing reports

Take ownership of data storage structures, data cleansing activities

Take responsibility for enhancing and maintaining existing data processes

Ensure ongoing data integrity, reporting data inconsistencies and resolving these in close collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Skills required include:

Proven experience in Data Analysis

R and/or Python programming languages

Advanced SQL skills

Cloud based exposure in any of the following environments: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform

Experience with visualization products such as, PowerBI, Tableau or Qliksense

Excellent Excel skills, including VBA and Macros

Strong verbal and visual communication skills

A passion for high quality data storytelling
