Senior Project Manager – IT Regulatory Transformation Program Contract

Salary/Day Rate: $1050-$1150 per day:

Short Description: Exciting opportunity to work for this large, diverse top ASX listed organisation in Melbourne who are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver an end to end IT Regulatory Transformation Program

Role Description

Senior Project Manager required by a top ASX listed organization to work on a high profile multi year Technology Program. The successful candidate will taking accountability and responsibility for a number of large scale complex software development projects with a strong regulatory focus delivering to time and budget. This role can be based from home long term, in their offices in Melbourne and or interstate, offers a very competitive contract day rate and a great company culture.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and manage the planning and delivery of multiple critical, highly complex technology projects

Assume responsibility in key areas such as risk and issues management, requirements management, and release management

Engage with, educate and influence internal business stakeholders (at multiple levels in the business), providing expert advice on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans.

Background:

Demonstrable experience leading high-profile technology transformation programs of work delivered on budget within tight timeframes

Core program management competencies including scope management, scheduling, budget management, and stakeholder/risk management,

Previous experience delivering Software Development projects within a highly regulated environment

Strong risk management, strategic planning and change management

Competency in the design and implementation of governance and reporting procedures and effective management of project financials with budgets in excess of $5 million

Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

Agile delivery experience
