Senior Project Manager – Data Transformation Contract NEW

Salary/Day Rate: $1050-$1150 per day:

Role Description

Senior Project Manager required by a top ASX listed organization taking accountability and responsibility for a large scale and complex cutting edge data transformation program across the business enterprise. The Project Manager will engage with, educate and influence internal business stakeholders (at multiple levels in the business), providing expert advice on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans. This is a Senior Project Manager post for an established Technology leader with a proven track record of leading multi-million-dollar projects delivering to time and budget. The role is based in the Sydney CBD, offering a very competitive remuneration package, flexible working environment and a great company culture.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and manage the planning and delivery of multiple critical, highly complex data and analytics projects

Day to day leadership of the projects team and cross functional teams

Assume responsibility in key areas such as risk and issues management, requirements management, and release management

Managing projects and programs using waterfall, agile or hybrid delivery methods as appropriate.

Background:

Demonstrable experience leading high-profile, complex data technology transformational programs of work and projects delivered on budget within tight timeframes

Core program management competencies including scope management, budget management, and stakeholder/risk management,

Strong risk management, strategic planning and change management

Experience delivering Data Transformation projects

Competency in the design and implementation of governance and reporting procedures and effective management of project financials with budgets in excess of $10M

Agile and flexible approach that is able to pivot and contribute to overall program success.
